|  Our Rehabilitation Services department is dedicated to helping patients return to everyday life following illness or injury, and offers a full range of rehabilitation services to meet patients' needs. Three locations serve the University area with a variety of comprehensive programs, such as generalized physical therapy, fall and balance programs, work conditioning and functional capacity evaluations.
Originally founded in 1950, Carolinas Rehabilitation is one of the largest free-standing, non-profit inpatient rehabilitation centers in the nation. Inpatient beds are available at four facilities, one adjacent to Carolinas Medical Center's main campus, one at CMC-Mercy, one at Levine Children's Hospital and one at Carolinas Rehabilitation-Mount Holly. Our specialists work as a team to provide you with state-of-the-art care that is tailored to match your special needs. In addition, we offer outpatient services at 14 locations throughout Mecklenburg, Gaston and Union counties including locations in the University area, Prosperity Crossing and Huntersville.
Carolinas Rehabilitation at University
Outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation services are offered through the CMC-University Medical Park location at 101 West W.T. Harris Blvd, Suite 5304, Charlotte.
