Our staff cardiologists from Sanger Clinic perform diagnostic procedures to help patients manage and overcome heart disease, including:
- Cardiac catheterizations
- Echocardiograms
- ECG Holter monitoring
- Stress testing
- Transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) - using an ultrasound device that is placed into the esophagus to create a clear image of the heart and surrounding tissue
- Cardioversion - restoring the heart's natural rhythm using an electric shock
- Bronchoscopy - using a small scope to view the patient's airways
- Endobronchial ultrasound - a new procedure using sound waves to create detailed images of the airways
Our Echocardiography Lab is one of the few in the region to meet national certification requirements from the Intersociety Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories for superior patient care and diagnostic treatment.
